Frequent Questions

Do you need a driver's license to drive Leva's motorcycles?

Yes, a category A driver’s license is required to drive Leva’s motorcycles.

How does electric motorcycle maintenance work?

An electric motorcycle has on average a third of the number of parts of a combustion motorcycle, making maintenance much simpler. Since Leva’s motorcycles have an electric motor, there is no need to change the oil, filters and spark plugs, which are common components of the combustion engine. Finally, Leva delivers the owner’s manual with its products, with a schedule of scheduled revisions, which can be carried out in our stores or at certified partners.

How does the replacement of motorcycle parts work?

The most recurring maintenance items such as brake pads and tires are national and are widely available on the replacement parts market. The other specific components of Leva motorcycles will be available in our dealer network, and if any damage or malfunction occurs, they can be easily replaced or repaired by our technical assistance team.

How long does the battery on Leva motorcycles last?

Leva motorcycle batteries last an average of 1,500 cycles. That is, 1,500 full charges. Considering an average user who charges the motorcycle once every two days, the batteries can last up to 8 years.

Are the motorcycles produced in Brazil?

Yes, Leva has a factory in Manaus, where all motorcycles are produced.

How much does it cost to charge the Leva batteries to full?

Each Leva battery has a capacity of 1,685 KWh, giving it a range of 100 km per full charge. Assuming the average cost of energy in Brazil, a full charge of both batteries costs R$2.20. By comparison, to run the same mileage with a combustion motorcycle the user would spend between R$15 and R$20.

Can I use the electric motorcycle in the rain? Can I wash the electric motorcycle?

All electronic systems on the bike are water resistant.

Can I charge the motorcycle at a fast charging station?

The EG1 has the optional fast charger input function, just indicate at the time of purchase that you want this functionality. ES1 currently does not have this option.

Can the range of motorcycles vary?

Yes, the range of electric motorcycles varies depending on the driving mode. For greater autonomy, we recommend using the motorcycles in economy or standard mode.

Leva motorcycles have a range tested by our team of up to 100 km in urban travel.
